Gabriel Jesus Iglesias (July 15, 1976) is also known as Fluffy and Gabriel Iglesias. He is an American actor and comedian. He got famous for his shows “Hot & Fluffy” and “I’m Not Fat… I”m Fluffy. Iglesias was born in San Diego, California, and was the youngest of six siblings. He was raised by a single mom.
Gabriel Jesus Iglesias started his professional career by working for a cell phone company, which was based in Los Angeles. He started comedy full-time in 1997. Due to comedy, he lost his car and was evicted from his family.
He got substantial popularity due to his jokes referring to his weight, often saying, “Oh, I’m not fat, I’m fluffy.” He also elaborates the fatness into five levels, “Husky,” “Damn!!”, “Fluffy,” “Healthy,” and “Big.” Later on, he also added the sixth level that was
“Oh, Hell No!!”.
He also participated in the 2006 reality TV series Last Comic Standing’s fourth season and survived an elimination to be in the final eight comics. At that point, he was disqualified due to violating the rules of the show. He was using a smuggled BlackBerry to communicate with his friends and family.
Gabriel Jesus Iglesias produced and hosted the Comedy Central “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand Up Revolution.” It was a series of standup showcase by him. The series ran for three seasons and ended in 2014.
