Beartooth Information
Beartooth is an American hardcore punk band founded in 2012 by Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio. The group was formerly known as Noise when it was first created. The name of Beartooth was changed upon the realization that it was already taken. The music of the band is defined as metalcore, melodic hardcore, and hardcore punk. Beartooth’s current lineup consists of Caleb Shomo – lead vocals, guitars; Oshie Bichar – bass, backing vocals; Connor Denis – drums, backing vocals; and Zach Huston – lead guitar, backing vocals. Some of the past members include Taylor Lumley, Nick Reed, and Brandon Mullins. The group is currently signed to Red Bull Records.
Beartooth released its debut EP entitled “Sick” on July 26, 2013, followed by its debut full-length album entitled Disgusting. The album came out on June 10, 2014. Aggressive was the second album by the band, released on June 3, 2016. On September 28, 2018, the third album by Beartooth was released entitled Disease.
Some of the band’s notable associated acts are My Ticket Home, City Lights, and Attack Attack!. A few of the hit singles by the band are “I Have a Problem,” “Beaten in Lips,” “In Between,” “Always Dead,” “Sick of Me,” “Bad Listener,” “Manipulation,” and “You Never Know.”
Beartooth was nominated for Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and Kerrang! Awards in 2015 and won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2016 and Loudwire Music Awards in 2017.
