Little Big Town Information
Little Big Town is a country band that originated from the US. The group's current lineup consists of Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Karen Fairchild. With all four musicians alternating as lead vocals, their musical approach mainly focuses on four-part vocal harmonies.
Little Big Town released their self-titled debut album on Monument Records in 2002, following a recording contract with Mercury Nashville Records that yielded no singles or albums. The album yielded the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart hits "Everything Changes" and "Don't Waste My Time," which charted at 42 and 33.
Little Big Town provided backup vocals on Collin Raye's Can't Back Down in 2001, while Sweet and Roads co-wrote the song "Back Where I Belong" on Sherrié Austin's Followin' a Feelin' in 2001.
Little Big Town has toured a lot around the country. Their headlining tours include The Nightfall Tour (2020), The Breakers Tour (2017-2018), Pain Killer Tour (2014-2015), Tornado Tour (2013), and The Reason Why Tour (2011).
The Road to Here, Little Big Town's second album, was released in 2005 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. Their third album, A Place to Land, was published by Equity and then re-issued by Capitol Nashville after Equity collapsed in 2008. Capitol has released five additional albums of the band since then, including The Reason Why (2010), Tornado (2012), Pain Killer (2014), The Breaker (2017), and Nightfall (2020).
