Cincinnati Bengals Information
The Cincinnati Bengals is a professional football team founded in 1967. After 33 years, the 2021 season marked the team's return to the Super Bowl when they beat the Kansas City Chiefs and reached Super Bowl LVI. Ultimately, they fell to the Los Angeles Rams from here.
In 2022, they again reached the AFC Championship Game, but this time lost to the Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl. Currently, Paycor Stadium serves as their home venue.
In 2022, when the NFL no longer enforced the "one-helmet rule," the Bengals debuted a new white helmet with black stripes. The team also reintroduced the all-white Color Rush jerseys to go with the white helmets. The Color Rush jersey was officially retired after only one season due to the team's decision to wear a white helmet with the white primary outfit for two games in 2023.
Who Dey, a Bengal tiger, is the official mascot of the squad. The team also boasts a cheerleading group called the Ben-Gals, which features Laura Vikmanis, the oldest cheerleader in the league's history. Only Anthony Munoz and Ken Riley played their whole careers for the Bengals, but four Hall of Famers have played for the team at some point.
