The Nashville Predators are one of the American ice hockey teams based in Nashville, Tennessee. The team is a member of the Central Division of NHL’s Western Conference. The Nashville Predators have called the Bridgestone Arena home ice since the year 1998. The Predators played their first Stanley Cup in 2017 but got defeated by the Pittsburgh Penguins in straight-six games.
The Nashville Predators franchise was founded in 1998 during the NHL expansion. They qualified for the first Stanley Cup playoffs between the 2003-04 season. The uniform colors of the Predators are gold, white, and navy blue. The uniform style changed in 2017-18 to match the new Adidas template. Predators Holdings LLC owns the franchise. Some of the prominent traditions of the team include throwing catfish onto the ice by the fans, waving old Predators towels, catfish hoisting by Lewan, and a few more.
