PBR - Team Series Information
Based in Pueblo, Colorado (USA), the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is a worldwide association of professional bull riders. Hundreds of events are sanctioned annually across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia, making it the largest bull riding league in the world. There are more than 500 PBR members, including bull riders from those countries and others.
The 2022 edition was held over Labor Day weekend at King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas, with proceeds benefiting conservation and sustainability initiatives around the state. The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association received a portion of the funds to be dispersed to municipal and rural fire departments that assisted landowners during the state's devastating wildfires earlier this year.
Starting in 2023, the year's MVP also got a $100,000 extra on top of the trophy. The Team Series MVP (the rider who accumulates the most points throughout the event) received a cash prize of $10,000 after each regular season event. Camping World took over as the title sponsor of the circuit in 2023.
