St. Louis Blues Information

The St. Louis Blues based in St. Louis, Missouri, is a professional ice hockey team. It is a part of the Central division of the NHL’S Western conference. The team played its home games at Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis. It is one of the six teams added to the NHL in the 1967 expansion. The Blues appeared four times in the Stanley Cup Finals and became the final active team from the 1967 expansion after winning the 2019 Stanley cup.

St. Louis Blues was founded in 1967 and is named after Saint Louis Blues song by W. C. Handy. During the regular season, the team notched a franchise-record of 1999–2000 and earned the Presidents' Trophy for the League's best record. Blues ended the 2005–06 season by making the worst record in 27 years. The team won the first playoff series during the 2012 playoffs since 2002. It won second Central Division championship in 2012-15 season.

The Blues have a uniform theme of gold, navy blue, royal blue, and white. The mascot for the St. Louis Blues is Louie the Bear, which introduced in October 2007. Some of the team’s Hall of Famers inducted are Glenn Anderson, Glenn Hall, Dickie Moore, Bernie Federko, and Adam Oates.

The team has won a wide number of trophies and awards throughout its history. Some of them are Vezina Trophy, Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy, James Norris Memorial Trophy, Lester Patrick Trophy, William M. Jennings Trophy, Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.
