Jeff Dunham Information
Jeff Dunham (April 18, 1962) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and ventriloquist. He was born in Dallas, Texas. In 1970, when he was eight years old, his parents gave him a Mortimer Snerd dummy and a how-to album so he could start ventriloquism as a hobby. As a young adult, Dunham began singing for crowds in settings including schools, churches, and even his work at Six Flags.
By the time he was in middle school, he had established a manner of lampooning his audiences. He used puppets to say things too provocatively to utter without them. His audiences included local superstars like Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach. In 2022, Dunham competed as "Pi-Rat" on season eight of The Masked Singer, appearing as a rat in pirate garb and holding a treasure chest containing a smaller rat that was a puppet.
Along with Montell Jordan, he went home on "Vegas Night" as "Panther." Dunham debuted a new puppet named Url in his 2022 special Jeff Dunham: Me the People. Url is a young man who is always glued to his phone. All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed, and Me was his autobiography, released by Dutton in 2010.
