This 158 minutes long film was under the production company named Working Title Films and Relativity Media.
Tom Hooper directed the film, whereas William Nicholson, Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg (music), and Herbert Kretzmer (English lyrics) together scripted it. Universal Pictures distributes this musical drama film as a British American venture.
The film cast members include Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, and Eddie Redmayne. The film made $441.8 million on the Box office with a budget of $61 million. It took place in France in the early 19th century, telling the story of Jean Valjean (a French prisoner released on parole after living in jail for 19 years over stolen bread loaf).
