Louis C.K. Information

Louis Székely (September 12, 1967) is famous by his stage name “Louis C.K..” He is an American writer, actor, filmmaker, and stand-up comedian. After his graduation, C.K. worked at a public access TV cable station, as a cook, in a video store, as well as an auto mechanic. While working as an auto mechanic, he learned about some tools and technical information that helped him in creating short films. Soon C.K. started making TV shows with the same knowledge.

The actual career of C.K. initiated in the 1990s when he started writing for comedians like Conan O'Brien, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, and David Letterman. He also wrote for several other comedy shows. C.K. also directed two surreal short films; Pootie Tang (2001) and Tomorrow Night (1998).

“Live in Houston” was the debut comedy album by Louis C.K. released in 2001 directly via his website. To date, he has published around nine comedy albums and often directs and edits his special ones. C.K. also enjoyed supporting acting roles in some famous films such as Blue Jasmine, American Hustle, and Trumbo. He was also the primary editor of a comedy-drama series named “Louie.”

Baskets and Better Things are two shows for FX, co-created by C.K. He also worked as a voice-over artist in the animated film called The Secret Life of Pets as Max. C.K. was also the part of the HBO special stand-up series called “One Night Stand.” He sold his “Live at the Beacon Theater” in 2011 via his website and earned nearly a million dollars within a few days.
