M&T Bank Stadium, formerly known as Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards, is a multi-purpose football stadium located at 1101 Russell Street, Baltimore, Maryland. Previously, the venue was also known as PSINet Stadium. The stadium serves home to the famous football team, the Baltimore Ravens of the Football National League. Construction began on July 23, 1996, costing a total amount of $338 million. M&T Bank Stadium opened to the general public on September 6, 1998. The venue has a seating capacity of 71,008 people. Currently, the stadium is owned by the Maryland Stadium Authority and is operated by the Baltimore Ravens. The architecture of the venue is designed by HOK Sports (now Populous).
M&T Bank Stadium is known to host college football, high school football along with national and international football matches. One of the famous tenants of the stadium is the Baltimore Ravens, who defeated the Washington Redskins in front of a massive crowd of 71,438 people (December 7, 2008). The venue has also hosted the Rivalry Army-Navy Game in 2000, 2007, 2014, and 2016. The yearly Rivalry game between Maryland and West Virginia was also played at M&T Bank Stadium. The Four State Football Championships, organized by Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association for Maryland’s public high school, was also held at the stadium. The Double matches of the quarter-final of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup played among United States vs. The venue also hosted El Salvador and Honduras v. Costa Rica. M&T Bank Stadium also served host to some of the famous musical concerts performed by Kenny Chesney, Beyonce, One Direction, and DJ Khaled.
