McLane Stadium, named initially Baylor Stadium, is an American football stadium located at 1001 S M.L.K. Jr Blvd. Waco, Texas. The stadium was open to the general public in 2014, with a construction cost of $266 million. It is operated and owned by Baylor University. McLane Stadium has a seating capacity of 45,140 people that can be expanded to 55, 000 along with a Matrix Turf surface. Populous designed the architecture of the stadium. It was named McLane Stadium in honor of Baylor alumnus and business magnate Drayton McLane, Jr., who provided the lead gift in the fundraising campaign for the construction. It serves as the home field to the Baylor Bears (NCAA) since 2014. McLane Stadium is constituting of 39 suites, 74 loge boxes, 1,200 outdoor club seats, 3,000 seats for the Baylor Line< student group, and 6,700 total student seats. The video board at the stadium is the 13th largest college football video board in the nation. Free Wi-Fi is the best part of the venue. It also features a dining and event room known as the Baylor Club. Some other features of the stadium are the Locker room and boat arrivals of the fans (as it is located at the north bank of the Brazos River).

The first game played at the McLane stadium by the Baylor Bears was on August 31, 2014, against SMU, where SMU got defeated at a score of 45-0. The Baylor Bears followed up their first victory with a 70-6 win over FCS opponent Northwestern State. It also hosts concerts and other community events such as The Gathering (a local gathering of churches on Palm Sunday).
