The stadium is under the ownership and operated by the University of Kansas. The architecture of the stadium is designed by La Force Bailey and Clement C. Williams. The stadium underwent renovations in the years 1998, 2006, 2013, and 2017. The venue is located at the center of all seven war memorial. It is named in honor of KU alumnus and donor David G. Booth, who pledged a donation of $50 million for the facility. It underwent renovations in the years 1998, 2006, 2014, and 2017. Treanor Architects designed the renovated venue.
David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium is the home field to the Kansas Jay Hawks Football Team. The stadium has hosted numerous games, which included Kansas State High School Activities Association State championship games and Kansas Shrine Bowl All-Star games.
