Hard Rock Stadium is located at 347 Don Shula Dr, Miami Gardens, Florida. It is a multipurpose football stadium with a seating capacity of 64,767 for football and 14,000 for tennis along with parking of 26,718 cars. It also contains 10,209 club seats, 216 executive suites. The stadium is under the ownership of Miami Hurricanes, LLC. The venue was known by several former names some of which are Pro Player Park, Dolphins Stadium, Land Shark Stadium, Sun Life Stadium, and a few more. The venue was opened on 16 August 1987, with a construction cost of US$115 million. HOK Sport is the architectural designer of the venue.
The stadium serves a current home to Miami Hurricanes (NCAA), Orange Bowl along (NCAA), Miami Dolphins (NFL), along with Miami Open (tennis). The site underwent many renovations including a major one in 2015 with a cost of $350 million. The Sun Life Stadium has played host to five Super Bowls (1989, 1995, 1999, 2007, and 2010) along with the 2010 Pro Bowl. It will be hosting Super Bowl LIV in 2020. Some other notable events held at the venue are the 2009 BCS National Championship Game, Shula Bowl, WrestleMania XXVIII, 2National League Championship Series, Monster Jam, etc.
The stadium has also hosted some popular concerts by The Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Guns N' Roses, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Madonna, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, and several more.
