The US Bank Stadium is located at 401 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The venue is an enclosed stadium which was inaugurated on July 22, 2016, with a construction cost of $1.061 billion. The venue is under the ownership of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority while SMG operates it. It has a seating capacity of 66,860 people for Football which is expandable to 73,000 for concerts. The stadium holds a record attendance of 72,711 fans at the 2019 NCAA Men's Final Four. It serves current home to Minnesota Vikings (NFL) along with partial home to Minnesota Golden Gophers (NCAA). The architecture of the stadium is designed by HKS, Inc., and Vikings Stadium Consortium (Studio Hive, Studio Five & Lawal Scott Erickson Architects Inc.). The stadium is the first venue to have a fixed roof built in the NFL.
The stadium hosts a variety of events including football, basketball, concerts, religious events, etc. It hosted the Super Bowl LII in 2018, ESPN X Games, NCAA Final Four, the United States women's national soccer team also played a game here, and many others. The venue also served host to popular artists who performed concerts here including Luke Bryan, Metallica, Prince, Guns N' Roses, U2, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Garth Brooks, and a few others. The LCMS Youth Gathering was also hosted by the stadium from July 11–15, 2019, as a religious event. The venue is expected to host the 2020 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
