Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena is located at 720 W. Mallon Avenue, Spokane, Washington, U.S. It is a multi-purpose arena that is under the ownership of Spokane Public Facilities District (SPFD) and is operated by the owner. It is a multi-surface arena with a capacity of 12,638 for high-end concerts, 12,210 for basketball, 10,366 for Hockey, 10,771 for indoor football, and 6,951 for half-house shows. The arena was opened to the public on September 10, 1995, with a construction cost of $62.6 million. The architecture for this arena is done by ALSC Architects and Ellerbe Becket. The venue serves home to the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. It enjoys a state-of-the-art audio and video system.
The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena hosts various events including basketball, NCAA Division I tournaments, bull riding, figure skating, concerts, shows, conferences, circuses, etc. Some popular events held at the arena are ArenaBowl XXIII, very first 2016 Team Challenge Cup, 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, Bud Light Cup Series, and much more.
