Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall is situated in the city of Fort Myers in the state of Florida. The city is a pre-eminent spot for tourist interest. One of the most prestigious institutions formerly known as the Thomas Edison Campus is home to the arts hall which is currently acknowledged as Florida South Western State College renamed in 2014.
The primary arts center of the college, Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, came into existence in 1986 and served as the leading performing arts venue in Lee County. It has a seating capacity of 1851 people. Musicals, symphonies, plays, shows, concerts & other events are featured at this art hall.
The Edison Pops Concert Series has convened here annually. Further, the renowned Fort Myers Community, which is a not-for-profit association drives to foster and encourage music and the teaching of music, the history of music and music appreciation in the Lee County Schools. All the performances of the community are held in B.Mann hall at a minimal cost per ticket to make it affordable to all.
The membership fees cover less than two-thirds of the actual cost of each concert. Students and chaperones can attend free, and teachers pay a reduced price. With the idea of keeping into consideration the comfort of all the sectors of the society, the box office ticket value has been reduced.
