Bon Secours Wellness Arena, which was formerly known as BI-LO Center, is located at 650 North Academy Street, Greenville, South Carolina, United States. The Arena was opened on September 3, 1998. The construction cost of the venue in the year 1998 was around $63 million. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena is owned and operated by the Greenville Arena District. The seating capacity is different for every event. For Hockey it has a seating space of 15,951, Basketball has 17,000 seating capacity, Concert (Center Stage) has 19,000 seating place, and Concert (End Stage) has 17,500 seating spaces for the public.
The architect of the Bon Secours Wellness Arena was done by Odell Associated and AMI Associates. On September 18, 2013, the arena got renamed from BI-LO center to Bon Secours Wellness Arena, when the Bon Secours Health System purchased its naming rights. The arena has been hosting some notable events so far such as professional wrestling, monster truck rallies, ice dancing shows and competitions along with famous concerts. Janet Jackson was the performer of the opening day at BI-LO Center in 1998.
