The Oakland Arena is located at 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, California, United States. It is an indoor arena with a seating capacity of 19,596 for basketball. It was formerly known as Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Arena (1966–1996) and The Arena in Oakland (1997–2005). This arena was opened to the general public on November 9, 1966, with a construction cost of US$24 million. It is operated by the AEG. This venue served as home to the Golden State Warriors from the year 1971 till the current year. The architect of the arena is designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill while the renovation was done by HNTB.
The Oracle Arena has hosted 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 basketball finals. Some other notable events held at the arena include WWE shows, The Bay Bombers, the Golden Bay Earthquakes, Warriors-Celtics game, etc.
The arena also hosted some popular concerts by Marvin Gaye, Parliament-Funkadelic, Grateful Dead, etc. The record attendance was made at the venue when Oracle Arena hosted 20,737 fans in a game where Warriors loss to the Denver Nuggets.
