The Caesars Palace Colosseum was formerly known as the Caesars Palace Showroom which is located at 3570 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada. This venue is a theatre that serves as the main entertainment venue for the Caesars Palace. It is operated by the Anschutz Entertainment Group and is under the ownership of Caesars Entertainment Corporation. With a seating capacity of 4,100 people at a time, this venue is awarded by the title of the Home of the Greatest Entertainers in the World.
This theatre is inspired by the architecture of ancient Rome, including a touch of contemporary architecture. It was constructed at the cost of $108 million and became the most expensive venue for entertainment purpose in Las Vegas. This venue was designed by the famous firm known as Scèno Plus and GSB Inc. It opened on March 25th, 2003.
The video screen at the theater offers 3D stage scenery along with stage lifts included to the stage. It is also equipped with 200 acoustical panels to control the sound being amplified.
Some famous shows held at this venue are the Celene Dion’s Show, Elton John’s Red Piano Show (2004-9), Together in Vegas, #1 to Infinity, Dreams, The Living Room Tour, Liberation Tour, comedy shows by Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Kathy Griffin, etc.
