The Gorge Amphitheatre, previously known as Champs de Brionne Music Theatre, is an outdoor concert venue. It is located at 754 Silica Road N.W., George, Washington. The venue opened its doors to the general public in 1986. The seating capacity of the venue is around 27,500. It is under the ownership of Live Nation. The ConcertBoom and Pollstar Magazine awarded the amphitheater with the 'Best Outdoor Concert Venue in America' and 'Best Outdoor Music Venue’, respectively.
The Gorge Amphitheatre has played host to a wide array of popular music festivals which include Creation Festival, Area Festival, Dave Matthews Band Caravan, Honda Civic Tour, H.O.R.D.E. Festival, Identity Festival, Rock the Bells Festival, Ozzfest, Lilith Fair, Lollapalooza, Paradiso Festival, Uproar Festival, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Watershed Festival, and Pain in the Grass. Phish band has also performed 19 times at the venue since 1997. An American country music duo Brooks & Dunn filmed the video of their song Only in America on June 12, 2001. Above and Beyond music group also hosted their 250th episode of Group Therapy Radio at the venue on September 16 & 17, 2017. Some famous artists such as Liquid Stranger, Flux Pavilion, Virtual Riot, and Zomboy performed in Bass Canyon music festival hosted at the venue on August 23, 2019.
