Jiffy Lube Live is consistently regarded as one of the most popular summer concert open air venues in the country. It is an outdoor Amphitheater which is located at 7800 Cellar Door Dr. Bristow, Virginia. This venue is owned and operated by Live Nation. It has a seating capacity of 25,262 in total with 14,818 on the lawn and 10,444 reserved seats. It was formerly popular as Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge. The venue was opened to the public in June 1995 with an opening show that featured The Trammps, The Village People, Rose Royce, and Laura Branigan.
From the day of the inauguration, the amphitheater has hosted several bands and musicians. The American hard rock band Kiss recorded their live album Rock the Nation Live! (DVD) during a concert here. Some other stars that performed at the venue are Jimmy Buffett, WMZQfest, Mayhem Festival (all 3 perform here annually), LeRoi Moore, Nicki Minaj, along with some top musical acts such as Widespread Panic, Phis, etc. Depeche Mode performance was held at the amphitheater thrice (for Touring the Angel, Tour of the Universe, and Delta Machine Tour).
Some other events that were held at this venue are festivals such as Farm Aid and Ozzfest. A rally by Senator Barack Obama was held here regarding his 2008 presidential campaign (June 5, 2018).
