Allstate Arena - Rosemont, IL
Allstate Arena is the multi-purpose venue in Rosemont, Illinois, United States. It is precisely located at the junction of North Mannheim Road and Interstate 90, adjacent to the city of Chicago and O’Hare International Airport. The arena hosts a variety of events including concerts, professional wrestling events, sports, etc.
It was inaugurated on May 11, 1980, and named as “ Rosemont Horizon.” The construction cost of this venue was around $20 million and $76.8 million in the year of 2018 for further construction. It has a seating capacity of about 17,500 for the basketball fans and 16,692 seats for the ice hockey fans. For the Pro Wrestling, the venue inherits the seating space of 18,211 people at a time.
The venue is owned by the Village of Rosemont. It is home to Chicago Wolves along with the American Hockey League (AHL). Also, a notable home to DePaul Blue Demons from 1980-2017. This venue was featured in many music videos as well with a famous example of, “Big City Night” by Scorpions, a music video from 1985. The first Ultimate Fighting Championship was hosted by Allstate Arena on October 25, 2008. It is also the favorite venue for WWE professional wrestling events that take place in Chicago.
Their ticketing hours are standard; Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. The tickets are also available at the Box Office Center.
