The CHI Health Center is known as Convention center and an arena which is located at 455 North 10th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The inauguration of the center took place on September 12, 2003, while it got opened for the general public on September 20, 2003. It adopted the name “Quest Center Omaha” when it was built but got renamed as, “CenturyLink Center Omaha” on July 15, 2011. In July 2018, naming-rights were sold to CHI HEALTH, and it was once again renamed on September 1, 2018, as the Chi Health Center Omaha. The center is owned by the City of Omaha. The seating capacities vary for the whole center such as 18,320 (Basketball), 17,100 (Hockey), 18,975 (Concert Center-Stage), and 2,693 (Peter Kiewit Grand Ballroom).
The design of the architect was done by the firm DLR Group for this venue. The arena has hosted the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament four times. In 2008,2012, 2015, the CHI Health Center has hosted the first and second-round games. The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship took place in the arena in 2010. The Summer Olympics trials for the USA Swimming televised nationally in the years 2008, 2012, and 2016 at the center. The arena has also hosted the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions in the year 2016.
