Fargodome - Fargo ND
Fargodome is an indoor athletic stadium which is located at 1800 University Dr. N, Fargo, North Dakota, United States. It is exactly located on the campus of North Dakota State University (NDSU). This stadium has a seating capacity as follows: 26,700 (Center-stage concerts), 22,000 (End-stage concert), 16,000 (3/4-house concert), 11,000 (Half-house concert), 19,000 (Football), 10,000 (basketball) and 3,500 (Gate City Bank Theater).
The venue is owned as well as operated by the City of Fargo. It was opened in late 1992 and served home to the North Dakota State Bison football team. The Fargodome's Gate City Bank Theatre is home to theatrical productions. The architecture design work for the stadium was done by the Sink, Combs, Dethlefs, Triebwasser, Helenske & Associates. It has played host to North Dakota State graduation ceremonies along with many sporting events, large concerts, and trade shows. It also hosts events like USHRA's Monster Jam, World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Many other national and regional events were also held at the venue. Also, the Asics/Vaughan Cadet and Junior National Wrestling Championships (freestyle, Greco-Roman wrestling) is held every year at the stadium.
Some popular acts played at the Fargodome stadium include The Rolling Stones, Journey, Pink, Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, Billy Joel, and many more. The stadium also hosts events on ice which include Disney on Ice, and traveling Broadway.
