The T-Mobile Center, formerly the Sprint Center, is located at 1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri, USA. It is a multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity that is distributed as follows; football arena 17,297, Basketball 18,972, Ice hockey 17,544 and for concerts, it is 19,252 along with 72 executive suites. It is a multi-surface arena that is under the ownership of the City of Kansas while it is operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). The venue was opened to the local public on October 10, 2007, having a construction cost of $276 million. The architectural work for this arena is carried out by HOK Sport, 360 Architecture, Ellerbe Becket, and Rafael Architects. The site is home to the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament.
This T-Mobile Center caters to many different genres from sports, to concerts, to conferences, to family shows. It houses the College Basketball Experience and the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Some significant events held in the arena are Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament, CBE Classic, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball's Hot Winter Nights Tour, Built Ford Tough Series by PBR, 2009 National Catholic Youth Conference, WWE's ECW on Syfy, The X Factor, etc.
The arena also hosted performances of some popular artists including Elton John, Tina Turner, Foo Fighters, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Metallica, Post Malone, Pearl Jam, Bruno Mars, and many more.
