Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis is an open-air concert venue located at 14141 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, Missouri. It was previously known as Riverport Amphitheatre. The venue has a seating capacity of around 20,000. The amphitheater opened to the general public on June 14, 1991, with a performance by Steve Winwood. The construction cost for the amphitheater was estimated to be $12 million. The venue became the site of Riverport Riot on July 2, 1991, during the Guns N' Roses Concert soon after opening. Currently, it is owned and operated by Live Nation.
Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis has hosted a variety of different genres of musical events and concerts. REO Speedwagon and Styx performed here on June 9, 2000, Sting during symphony City Tour on June 23, 2010, along with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Kings of Leon on July 23, 2010.
