The Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, which was initially known as the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion, is located at 1 Railroad Street, Bangor, Maine. It was opened to the general public on July 27, 2010, with a construction cost of $1.4 million approx. The arena has a seating capacity of up to 15,000 people at a time. It is owned by the City of Bangor and operated by Waterfront Concerts. The venue underwent a major renovation in the year 2013.
The architecture of the arena was designed by Shadley Associates. Celtic Woman performed at the opening concert of this amphitheater. The operations of the venue take place from July until October. The arena serves the Waterfront Concert Series as their home venue.
In 2012, City Council got the proposal of making the amphitheater, a permanent stage. Votes taken for this purpose decided that the amphitheater is not going to be the stable stage, but they will keep it. The arena has hosted hundreds of events, concerts and other shows since its inauguration. Darling's Waterfront Pavilion Bangor tickets have included acts like Chris Stapleton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, and many more. The amphitheater consistently brings in the hottest summer concerts.
