The Amway Center is known as a popular sports and entertainment venue, located on 400 West Church Street, Orlando, Florida. It opened its door to the public on October 1, 2010, with a construction cost of over $480 million ($559 million in 2018). The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 29, 2010, where Orlando’s Mayor Buddy Dyer was invited. He gave his first-ever Annual Downtown address in this ceremony.

The first-ever concert that was held in the Amway Center took place on October 8 by Vicente Fernandez along with Edith Marquez. The Center has also hosted the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, an honor for this place.
