The Honda Center is located in Anaheim, California. It is an indoor arena and home to the National Hockey team called Anaheim Ducks. It was opened in 1993 and built with a budget of $123. Honda paid $60 million for the naming right of this center.
The Honda Center has been hosting several events which include 2003, 2007 Stanley Cup Finals, several UFC events, UFC 59 in 2006, 2005 IBF World Championships for badminton. It was a second home for the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers from 1994-1998. From 1996-1997, it was home to the Anaheim Piranhas of the Arena Football League.
This center has hosted Big West Conference Men's and Women's Basketball tournaments, NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament seven times, Frozen Four, the semifinals and final of the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship, in 1999 much more. Apart from that, it hosted a concert of music legend Tina Turner in December 2000.
The Honda Center has a seating capacity of up to 17, 174 people. It can convert into an 8,400-seat amphitheater. Moreover, it has 84 luxury suites, two full levels of 360° ribbon displays installed and 1,800 feet (550 m) of full-color LED technology along with two large video displays outside the venue.
