FedEx Field is an American football stadium which was known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium and is located in Landover, Maryland. The stadium is a home ground of the National Football League (NFL) and Washington Redskins. From 2004 until 2010, it had the largest seating capacity of over 91,000 in the NFL. Now the seating capacity is 82,000.
In 1997, the stadium was opened to the public as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. FedEx Field has five levels which are the Club Level, the Lower and Upper Suite Levels, the Lower Level, and the Upper Level. These levels are named after prominent figures of the Redskins, NFL, and Washington, D.C. area. The Suite levels of this field have 243 suite, Owner's Club luxury boxes, lounge, and 15,044 club seats. At FedEx Field, many college football games have occurred including a 1998 game between the University of Notre Dame and the United States Naval Academy, Black Coaches Association Classic between the University of Southern California Trojans, and the Virginia Tech Hokies in 2004 and the 112th Army-Navy Game.
