Banda Ms Information
Banda Ms, also known as Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, is a Mexican Band that originated from Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The group was founded in 2003 by brothers Sergio and Alberto Lizárraga. There is a long list of current members including Alan Ramírez, Oswaldo Silvas (Walo), Jairo Osuna, Pavel Ocampo, Elías Nordahl Piña, José Francisco Iturralde, Ricardo Nordahl Piña, Nicolás Tiznado, and many more. The band debuted with an album entitled "No Podrás" in 2004. It was followed by Mi mayor anhelo in 2005. Some of their other early albums include 2006: La Raza Contenta, 2008: Escuela de rancho, 2009: En preparación, 2011: Amor enfermo, 2012: Mi razón de ser, 2013: 10 aniversario, and 2015: En vivo Guadalajara-Monterrey.
Banda Ms received an award from Monitor Latino on February 12, 2016, for their song "Solo Con Verte." The group members also received this award at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie. This award marked the first-ever concert by the group during their US tour. Banda Ms was nominated for Premios De La Radio 2012, Premio Grammy Latino 2012, Premios De La Radio 2013, Billboard Latin Music Award 2013, and Latin American Music Awards 2015.
The top awards won by Banda Ms include the IHeartRadio Music Award 2017 for Regional Mexican Song Of the Year and the Billboard Latin Music Award 2017 for many categories. The group has also won Premios Juventud 2017, Latin American Award 2016 for Favorite Regional Albums, and Premio Bandamax 2014 for Song of the Year.
