About Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder (December 23, 1964) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and lead vocalist. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, and moved to San Diego in 1984 with Beth Liebling, his fiancée, and Frank, a buddy. Vedder worked as a security guard at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla and recorded demo tapes at home while he was a resident of the San Diego region. Vedder played in bands like Surf and Destroy and the Butts while living in the San Diego region. The single "Long Way" from Vedder's third studio album, Earthling, was released in September 2021. The following year, on January 14, 2022, "Brother the Cloud" and "The Haves" premiered. A limited edition 7" vinyl featuring "Long Way" and "The Haves" had been published. Andrew Watt on guitar; Josh Klinghoffer on guitar, keyboard, and vocals; Chad Smith on drums; Chris Chaney on bass; and Glen Hansard on rhythm guitar and backing vocals make up Vedder's touring band, The Earthlings. His album, Into the Wild, was placed at number 20 on Consequence of Sound's list of the Top 20 Rock 'n' Roll Solo Albums. Vedder was placed at position 105 on Rolling Stone's list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time in 2023.
