Gov't Mule is an American rock jam band. The current lineup comprises Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Kevin Scott. Guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody founded the band as a side gig for the Allman Brothers Band in 1994. Gov't Mule is commonly referred to by its fans as "Mule." Gov't Mule was published in 1995, and since then, the band released nine more studio albums, in addition to countless EPs and live CDs. Released on Fantasy Records on June 9, 2017, Gov't Mule's tenth studio album is Revolution Come... Revolution Go. After "Stone Cold Rage" debuted on Rolling Stone, KBCO hosted the album's exclusive "Sarah, Surrender" premiere on April 12. Pre-orders for the album went live the next day. At the King Biscuit Blues Festival, where they were the closing act, blues luminaries Larry McCray and Bob Margolin joined the band for a 40-minute encore. 2019, the Mule released Bring on the Music, a live film and album recorded at New York's Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. This was followed in 2023 by Peace... Like a River. Jorgen Carlsson announced his departure from the band a few days before the release, with Kevin Scott taking his place.
