About Juicy J

Jordan Michael Houston III (April 5, 1975), better known by his stage name Juicy J, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and record executive based in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a founding member of Three 6 Mafia, a Southern hip hop group founded in 1991. In his 11th year at North Side High School, he wrote "Slob on My Knob." Juicy J was a co-founder of the Three 6 Mafia, a Southern hip hop group, in 1991. Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, and Koopsta Knicca are among the rappers performing alongside DJ Paul and Lord Infamous. Juicy J has founded Prophet Entertainment with DJ Paul. Under North North Records, he released his first solo studio album, Chronicles of the Juice Man, on July 2, 2002. Hustle Till I Die, his second studio album, was released on June 16, 2009, by Hypnotize Minds and Select-O-Hits. Juicy J stepped aside from Three 6 Mafia from 2009 to 2011, focusing on his solo career. Juicy J signed a recording deal with Columbia Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records in September 2012. He stated in November 2012 that his third studio album, Stay Trippy, would be released in 2013. He has shown an interest in working on the record with Nas, Dr. Dre, and Jay-Z. Juicy J announced on January 20, 2013, that he would perform at the 2013 Paid Dues event on March 30, 2013. Katy Perry's single "Dark Horse" from her fourth album entitled Prism featured Juicy J. (2013). On September 17, 2013, the song was released. The album's third single, "Dark Horse," was released to radio on December 17 in the United States.
