Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado (March 13, 1992) is simply known by his surname Ozuna. He is a Puerto Rican Latin rap as well as reggaeton singer stated to be "New King of Reggaeton." Ozuna is from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He usually plays hip hop, Latin trap, bachata, Latin pop, Latin ballad, and reggaeton. From an early age, Ozuna gained a passion for the Latin urban genre. He started to compose his songs when he was only twelve.
"Imaginando" was the debut song by Ozuna, which was released in 2010. Later, he signed a recording contract with the Golden Family Records and started to publish his songs on YouTube. "Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere" was the breakthrough hit by Ozuna. He gained popularity by appearing in the single “La Ocasión," which was a collaboration with Mambo Kingz, De La Ghetto, DJ Luian, Arcángel, and Anuel AA. This single hit no.22 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.
Some of the popular discographies by Ozuna include his song "No Quiere Enamorarse," "Dile Que Tu Me Quieres," "Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere (Remix)," "En La Intimidad," Odisea (2017), Aura (2018), Nibiru (2019), "La Modelo," and many more. His album Odisea spent 30 weeks at no.1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, breaking the record of a 29-week record, which was held by Luis Miguel's Segundo Romance. Ozuna also worked with Cardi B, DJ Snake, and Selena Gomez in the project “Taki Taki’.
Ozuna also appeared in films like Que León (2018), Los Leones (2019), and upcoming Fast & Furious 9. He has been honored with countless awards, including 6 Latin American Music Awards, 5 Billboard Music Awards, 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 8 Lo Nuestro Awards. He has also been nominated for Latin Grammy Award.
