Stephanie Lynn Nicks, also known as Stevie Nicks, is a famous singer and songwriter in the United States. She is primarily known for her association with the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. She won a Grammy for the Album of the year for the album “Rumours’ by Fleetwood Mac in the year 1978. Born on May 26th, 1948, Stevie Nicks also has an impressive solo career. She has sold over 40 million copies of albums that she had compiled with Fleetwood Mac. She first came across the band in 1975, and the same year she joined them.
She began her solo career in the year 1981 while still being in the band. She released her debut album Bella Donna which was no.1 on the Billboard Top 200. Many Stevie Nicks songs are very famous such as ‘Edge of Seventeen,’ ‘Landslide,’ ‘The Chain, Dreams’ and many more. Being the only woman to be added in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, she is also part of the 100 Greatest Musicians of All Time by the magazine Rolling Stone.
She has sold over 140 million copies of albums inclusive of her solo career and her time with the band. She is currently living in Los Angeles, California, U.S.
