The Hawkeyes have given America more than a few football legends and icons; they have a tradition of producing football superstars that go on to headline NFL. Few of those big names are, Emlen Tunnell, the first African American to have got elected for Pro Football Hall of Fame, Alex Karras, the key player of the first Iowa team ever to win the Rose Bowl, Bob Jeter, the icon who finished his career with more than 23 interceptions and many more evergreen performers of such caliber.
