About PAC 12 Mens Basketball Tournament

The Pac-12 men's basketball tournament, also known as the Pac-12 tournament, is the conference's annual championship event. It is played at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Pac-10 Conference's first Tournament was held that year, 1987. After four seasons, it was canceled. Before 2002, the conference did not hold a tournament of any kind. The Pac-12 Tournament began its three-year run at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 13, 2012. T-Mobile Arena, which opened for the 2016–17 basketball season, became the new site of the Tournament, with a contract between the Pac-12 and the arena running as far as 2020. The agreement's expiration date was pushed back to October 2021 and 2022. The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2022 Pac-12 Tournament would be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network, FOX, and FS1 on September 29, 2021. The Pac-12 Network would air eight games, FS1 would air two, and FOX would air the championship game of the Pac-12 Tournament. Because the league will have only two remaining members at the end of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, the future of the Pac-12 league itself, as well as the Tournament beyond the 2024 tournament, is doubtful.
