Martin stadium with a capacity of thirty-two seats is the home ground of this team. Each year, the season ends with Apple Cup which is a traditional football tournament between Cougars and Washington Huskies. Mike Leach is the current Coach of the Washington State Cougars team. Out of the total fifteen Bowl game competitions, the team has won eight till now. Under the supervision of the brilliant current coach, Mike Leach, the team has set a record for appearing in four consecutive bowl games. Washington and Idaho are the two rival teams of Cougars and matches with these teams are always very tough to play and fun to watch.
The schedule of Cougars' games this season is all set and out for the public. Arizona State Sun Devils will face the Washington State Cougars Football team in the first match of this season on the 12th of October.
