Kathleen Madigan graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in B.A in Journalism in the year 1988. While Kathleen Madigan was studying at this university was in charge of the students' newspaper. She landed her first job at print journalism in St. Louis journals newspapers. While working as a journalist, she also performed as a stand-up comedian in a local comedy club of St. Louis. Kathleen Madigan gained popularity in stand up comedy, which soon led to a full time paying job as a stand-up in The Funny Bone, which is a chain of comedy clubs.
Kathleen Madigan appeared in several TV shows such as 'The Last Comic Standing,' 'I love the 90s', 'the Celebrity Poker Showdown,' and many more. She is also considered as a veteran of the Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Show with David Letterman, The Bob, and Tom Show, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
