Stray Kids Information
Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band consisting of 8 members: Bang Chan (leader, vocalist, producer, dancer, rapper), Changbin (producer, rapper), Han, Seungmin, Lee Know (dancer), Hyunjin (dancer, rapper), Felix (dancer, rapper) and I.N (vocalist). JYP Entertainment formed the band through the 2017 reality show of the same name.
In August 2017, JYPE released Stray Kids' first music video for the song "Hellevator." On January 8, 2018, the band released their first extended play, entitled, "Mixtape. " It consists of famous singles, including Spread My Wings, Beware, and Hellevator. The EP ranked no.2 on Billboard's World Albums chart and Gaon's Album Chart.
Stray Kids released their second extended play, entitled, "I Am Not," on March 26, 2018, with singles including District 9, Mirror, and Grow Up. This EP sold more than 54,000 physical copies and ranked no.4 on Gaon's Album Chart. Some of the other EPs of the band are I Am Who, I Am You, Clé 1: Mirah, and Clé: Levanter.
Stray Kids performed at KCON Japan 2018, on April 14, and it was the group's first overseas performance since debut. To date, the band has released many music videos. Some of these are Rock, My Pace, Voices, M.I.A., Question, Insomnia, Get Cool, Miroh, 19, Chronosaurus, Double Knot, and Astronaut.
Stray Kids have won several awards in only two years. They have won 3 Asia Artist Awards, including AAA Groove Award, Star15 Popularity Award, and Rookie of the Year in 2018. Other awards won by the group are New Artist of the Year in Gaon Chart Music Awards, Best New Artist in Golden Disc Awards, Male Rookie Award in MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards, Best New Male Artist in Mnet Asian Music Awards, Rookie of the Year in Seoul Music Awards, Next Leader Award in U+5G The Fact Music Awards ceremony, and Rising Hot Star Award in Soribada Best K-Music Awards.
