The Minnesota Timberwolves is an American National professional basketball team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The team is commonly known as Wolves and competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the Western Conference Northwest Division. The Wolves were founded in the year 1989; Glen Taylor owns the team. The home venue of the team is Target Arena since 1990. Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was the former home venue of the Wolves. The team is currently under the ownership of Glen Taylor.
The Minnesota Timberwolves opted for aurora green, lake blue, midnight blue, moonlight grey, and frost white as their official uniform colors. The team enjoys the presence of Crunch the Wolf as their official mascot. The Wolves have won none of the Championships or Conference titles but only one Division title in 2004. The team has two retired players on board named Malik Sealy and Flip Saunders.
