The Minnesota Wild is a professional ice hockey team that is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Wild team is a member of the Central Division of the NHL’s Western Conference. The team was founded on June 25, 1997, but wasn’t able to play till 2000–01 season. It is owned by Craig Leipold. The team was the very first one in Minnesota who lost the first game to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 3-1. Their first win was against Tampa Bay Lightning. The Wild first appeared in the Stanley Cup in 2002-03 season-ending up till the Western Conference Finals. The Xcel Energy Center is the home ice for your local favorite Minnesota Wild.

The franchise selected Iron range red, forest green, Minnesota wheat, and harvest gold colors in their uniforms. The Wild has always had a goal horn since it first got inspected. "Rock and Roll Part 2" was the first team’s song while the second one was "Crowd Chant" by Joe Satriani. The current permanent song used by the group is "Let's Go Crazy." "Crowd Chant" was kept as the winning song by the team.
