The Vegas Golden Knights are an American professional ice hockey team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The team is a member of the Pacific Division of the NHL’s Western Conference. The Golden Knights began to play in the NHL season of 2017–18. It was founded in 2017 whereas owned by Bill Foley (70%) and Maloof family (30%) (Black Knight Sports & Entertainment). The Vegas Golden Knights play their home games at the T-Mobile Arena , which is located on the Las Vegas Strip (Paradise, Nevada).
The Vegas Golden Knights opted for steel grey, red, gold, and black colors for their uniforms. The team won 0 Stanley Cups, 1 Conference championships (2017–18), 0 Presidents' Trophy, and 1 Division championships (2017-18). The phrase “Knights” is added to the team name because of Foley's alma mater, a homage to the Black Knights of the United States Military Academy. The mascot for the team is a Gila monster named Chance.
