Born on the 17th of February of 1991, Edward Christopher Sheeran is a singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and guitarist from England. Ed Sheeran released his first Extended Play (EP) independently in the first half of 2011. His debut album called "+" was released in September of 2011 under the label called Asylum Records. Ed Sheeran's album reached number 5 on the US charts. This same album has received eight platinum certificates in the UK. One of the songs from this album called "The A-Team" earned Ed Sheeran Best Song Musically and Lyrically by the Ivor Novello Award.
In the following year after his debut, Ed Sheeran received the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act and Best British Male Solo Artist, his single "The A-Team," was also nominated for the 2013 Grammy Awards for Song of the Year.
Ed Sheeran went on to release his second and third studio album in 2014 and 2017 called "x" and "÷," respectively. "X" was number 1 on the UK and US charts. Ed Sheeran received Album of the Year at the Brit Awards for his "x" album. "Thinking Out Loud" is a single from the same collection which earned Ed Sheeran two Grammy Awards in 2016 for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. He has sold approximately 150 million copies of his record all around the world, which made him put him on the top for the world's best selling music artists.
